    Kad sam je videla pre par dana, znala sam da ću je spremati za Uskršnji ručak. Pogača je prelepog ukusa  i izgleda. Kada se iznese na sto, sigurno je da neće biti ravnodušnih.

    Potrebno za testo:

    • 300 ml mleka
    • 100 ml ulja
    • 1 kockica kvasca
    • 1 kašičica šećera
    • 2 kašičice soli

    Po sastavu,ova pogača je ista kao Praznična pogača, ali se razlikuju po izgledu. Na Vama je da odlučite,hoćete li pogaču sa pletenicom ili sa rolnicama :)

    Potrebno je:
    • 120 ml mleka
    • 1/2 kockice kvasca ili 20 gr
    • 300 gr brašna
    • 1 kašičica soli
    • 1/2 kašičice šećera
    • 1 kašičica sirćeta
    • 2 jaja
    • 50 ml ulja
    • margarin (sobna temperatura)
    • susam za posipanje
    U toplo mleko stavite kvasac, šećer, kašičicu brašna i ostavite malo da nadođe.
    U vanglicu stavite 1 jaje, ulje, so, sirće i sve izmešajte. Dodajte mleko sa nadošlim kvasce, a onda zamesite testo sa brašnom. Pokrite vanglicu sa čistom krpom i ostavite testo 30 minuta da nadođe.
    Nadošlo testo premesite,razvučite odprilike na 30 x 70 i premažite ga margarinom i urolajte. Sa oštrim nožem isecite na 5-6 cm širine. Šerpicu prečnika 20 cm namažite sa margarinom a onda poslažite rolnice, ali vodite računa da postoji razmak između njih.


     Ostavite još 30 minuta da naraste, premažite jajetom, pospite sa susamom i stavite odozgo po parče margarina.

    Peći u zagrejanoj rerni na 200 °C dok ne porumeni.

    ·        2 eggs

    ·        50 ml of oil

    ·        Sesame seeds for sprinkling

     

     

    In the warm milk, combine together, the yeast, sugar, spoon of flour, and leave it on the side to foam. Use a small bowl and put in 1 egg, oil, salt, vinegar and mix all together. Add milk to foamed yeast, and then knead it into the dough together with flour. Cover the bowl with kitchen towel and set aside for 30 minutes to proof. When it was raised enough roll the dough into 30 x 70 dimensions and spread it with margarine then starts rolling. With sharp knife cut pieces into 5-6 cm wide. Use the baking dish in the diameter of 20 cm and grease it with margarine then arrange the rolls into the pan, but keep in mind to leave some  space between them.  When all the process is done leave it aside for 30 more minutes, brush with egg, and sprinkle with sesame seeds and on each roll place a small pieces of margarine.  Bake in preheated oven on 200 °C till it tunes golden color. Enjoy

    Ako planirate za Novu Godinu da napravite pogaču,
    ovo je moj predlog za vas.

    Testo od ove pogače je odlično i za slavski kolač.

    Potrebno je:
    120 ml mleka
    1/2 kockice kvasca ili 20 gr
    300 gr brašna
    1 kašičica soli
    1/2 kašičice šećera
    1 kašičica sirćeta
    2 jaja
    50 ml ulja
    100 gr margarina(sobna temperatura)
    susam za posipanje

    U toplo mleko stavite kvasac, šećer
    kašičicu brašna i ostavite malo da nadođe.

    U vanglicu stavite 1 jaje, ulje, so, sirće i sve izmešajte. Dodajte mleko sa nadošlim kvasce, a onda zamesite testo sa brašnom. Pokrite vanglicu sa čistom krpom i ostavite testo 30 minuta da nadođe.
    Nadošlo testo premesiti i podeliti ga na 4 dela( jufkice). Svaki deo posebno razvući (odprilike 15 x 25-30) premazite ga margarinom i urolajte.
    Dobili ste 4 urolana dela. Sastavite po dva i isprepletite ih.

    Šerpicu prečnika 20 cm namažite sa margarinom.
    Dno možete da obložite i sa papirom za pečenje.

    Uzmite prvu pletenicu,savijte je ukrug (malo krajeve podvucite ispod testa) i stavite u sredinu šerpice. Drugu pletenicu stavite oko ove prve i krajeve isto podvucite pod pogaču.
    Šerpicu pokrijte sa čistom krpom i ostavite 60 minuta na toplom mestu.
    Kada testo nadođe i dođe do ivice od šerpice, umutiti preostalo jaje,premažite pogaču,a onda je bogato pospite sa susamom.


    Stavite da se peče u zagrejanu rernu na 200 °C  i kroz 10 minuta smanjite na 180 °C a pogaču pokrijte sa papirom za pečenje i pecite još dok ne porumeni.
    Kada je gotova,odmah je izvadite iz šerpice i uvijte u čistu krpu da malo odstoji,a onda je poslužite.

When it was raised enough knead the dough and separate it into 4 equal pieces. Roll every piece in dimension (15 x 25-30), grease with margarine and roll. You will get 4 rolls. Take two at the time and braid together into one bread.  Use the oven safe pan in the diameter of 20 cm and grease it well with margarine.  Line the bottom of the pan with parchment paper. Use one braid and curl it into a circle shape (tuck each end a little under) and put it into the middle of the pan. The other braid roll right next to first one and also tuck in the ends under. When all the process is done leave it aside for 60 minutes, brush with egg, and sprinkle with sesame seeds.   Bake in preheated oven on 200 °C and after 10 minutes lower the temp to 180 °C. Cover the pogaca with parchment paper and bake till it reaches golden color. When it’s done, remove it from the baking dish, wrap into clean cloth and let it rest.     9-Dec-2008 - Projice sa čvarcima i paprikom

    Malo se razlikuju od klasičnih projica,ali su isto tako ukusne i odlične za ovaj period kada kreću jela sa kiselim kupusom,kao recimo podvarak mmm.....

    Potrebno je:
    • 200 gr kukuruznog brašna
    • 200 gr pšeničnog brašna
    • 100 ml mleka
    • 200 ml kiselog mleka
    • 2 jaja
    • 100 ml ulja
    • 1 prašak za pecivo
    • 150 gr feta sira
    • 1 crvena paprika
    • 150 gr čvaraka
    • malo peršuna
    • mešavina začina
    Papriku i čvarke iseći na kockice,a feta fir izmrviti. U odgovarajuću posudu sjediniti kukuruzno i pšenično brašno,mleko,ulje , kiselo mleko, jaja, sir, prašak za pecivo i malo iseckanog peršuna, pa dobro izmešati da se sve sjedini. Zatim,dodati crvenu papriku i čvarke, pa lagano promešati sa varjačom. Kalupe za projice (maffine) obložiti sa papirnatim korpicama. U njih sipati pripremljenu masu i peći u zagrejanoj rerni na 200 °C dok ne porumene.

    Proja (corn bread) with crackling and pepper

    Ingredients needed:

    • 200 gram of corn flour

    • 200 gram of wheat flour

    • 100 ml of milk

    • 200 ml of buttermilk

    • 2 eggs

    • 100 ml of oil

    • 1 package of baking powder

    • 150 gram of feta cheese

    • 1 red pepper

    • 150 gram of crackling

    • Parsley

    • Mix of herbs

     

    Slice crackling and pepper into small cubes. Crumble the feta. In appropriate dish combine flours, milk, oil, buttermilk, eggs, cheese, and baking powder, a little bit of freshly cut parsley and incorporate all together.  Add red pepper and crackling, and stir it all together. Use muffin pan and line them with paper liners. Add the batter and bake in preheated oven on 200 °C and golden color.

    2-Nov-2008 - Lisnata dupla pletenica

    Moja današnja pogača-pletenica :)

    Za testo:
    700 gr    brašna
    250 ml    mleka
    2 kašičice    soli
    1 kašičica    šećera
    1 kockica    kvasca
    2    jaja
    100 ml    ulja

    I još treba:

    100 gr    omekšalog margarina
    1 belanac    za premazivanje
    mak za posipanje


    U mlako mleko staviti šećer,kašiku brašna i kvasac. Ostaviti da nadođe. U vanglicu staviti jaja, ulje,so i sve izmešati. Dodati mleko sa nadošlim kvascem pa zamesiti testo sa brašnom. Pokriti krpom i ostaviti 30-45 minuta da testo nadođe. Nadošlo testo premesiti i podeliti na dva nejednaka dela (1/3 i 2/3) slika 1 . Manju a i veću jufku podeliti na po tri dela (slika 2).

    Tri veće jufke,svaku posebno razvući dužine oko 25-30 cm (slika 3), po sredini premazati omekšalim margarinom (slika 4) i urolati (slika 5).

    Tako uraditi i sa manjim jufkama i na kraju dobijete tri veća i tri manja dela (slika 6) . Uzeti tri trake za veću pletenicu (slika 7) i napraviti pletenicu a početak (slika 8) i kraj saviti.


    Isto to ponoviti i za manju pletenicu (slika 9) .Pleh premazati margarinom, prebaciti na sredinu veću pletenicu, a na nju staviti manju (slika 10). Premazati umućenim belancetom i posuti sa makom (slika 11).

    Ostaviti da nadođe oko 35 minuta, a onda staviti u zagrejanu rernu na 200 °C i peći 25 minuta ili zavisno od vaše rerne.

    Leafy double braided bread

    Ingredients needed:

     

    ·        700 gram  of flour

    ·        250 ml of milk

    ·        1 teaspoon of salt

    ·        1 teaspoon of sugar

    ·        1 cube of fresh yeast

    ·        2 eggs

    ·        100 ml of oil

    Also needed:

    • 100 gram of room temperature margarine

    • 1 egg white  for brushing

    • Poppy seeds for sprinkling
    In warm like milk add sugar, spoon of flour and yeast. Let it foam. In small bowl add eggs, oil, and salt and stir together. Add milk to foamed yeast and mix together with flour into smooth dough. Cover with kitchen towel and let it proof for about 30-45 minutes.  When ready knead the dough and divide into two pieces. They don’t have to be equal. Let the one be 1/3 of the entire dough and the other 2/3 (Photo 1). Separate each one into 3 different parts (see photo 3). Roll each of the bigger pieces into 25-cm dimension (photo 3).  Spread centers of each dough with  some room temperature margarine (Photo 4) and roll (photo 5). Do the same thing with smaller pieces and at the end you will get three big and three small rolls (photo 6). Take three longer strips (photo 7) and braid the dough while you tuck in a little bit of front and back ends (photo 8). Do the same process with smaller pieces (photo 9). Grease the baking pan with some margarine and in the middle of it place bigger braid and on top place smaller one (photo 10). Brush with egg white and sprinkle with some poppy seeds (photo 11). Let it proof for about 35 minutes. Bake it in the preheated oven on 200 °C and bake for 25 minutes or till golden color depending on the oven.

    12-Oct-2008 - Mini projice sa pečurkama

    Potrebno je:
    300 gr šampinjona
    2 kašike ulja
    200 gr kukuruznog brašna
    2 jaja
    100 gr sitnog sira
    100 ml mleka
    200 ml mineralne vode
    so i biber

    Pečurke dobro oprati, iseckati na komade i ispržiti na vrelom ulju. Začiniti ih (so i biber) a zatim rasporediti u papirnate korpice za proju koje smo pre toga stavili u pleh za iste.
    Jaja umutiti, posoliti i dodati sir. Sve sjediniti, sipati mlekom pa dodati kukuruzno brašno. Polako izmešati, dodati malo ulja i razrediti mineralnom vodom. Masu kutlačom sipati u formice do 4/5 zapremine. Staviti u rernu da se peče 30 minuta na 220°C. Gotove projice izvaditi na tanjir i servirati uz jogurt,kiselo mleko,ajvar......

    Mini corn bread muffins with mushrooms 

    Ingredients needed:

    • 300 grams of mushrooms ( baby Bella)
    • 2 tablespoon of oil
    • 200 grams of corn flour
    • 2 eggs
    • 100 grams of small curd cheese
    • 100 ml of milk
    • 200 ml of mineral water
    • Salt and pepper
    Wash the mushrooms, slice them in small pieces and sauté on hot oil. Season it with salt and pepper and arrange them in paper molds assigned for this dish. Whisk in the eggs, salt them and add cheese. Incorporate it all together; add milk, and corn flour.  Stir a bit than add oil and thin out with mineral water. With help of a ladle pour the mixture into appropriate molds, but not all the way to the top. Bake on 220°C for 30 minutes. While warm arrange them on the serving platter and serve with yogurt, buttermilk, ajvar etc.

    26-Jul-2008 - Focaccia (Fokača)

    Potrebno za testo:
    • 450 gr    brašna
    • 1 kesica    suvog kvasca
    • 1 kašičica    šećera
    • 1/2 kašičice    soli
    • 250 ml    mlake vode
    • 3 kašike    maslinovog ulja
    Potrebno za nadev:
    • 120 ml    maslinovog ulja
    • 2 češnja    belog luka
    • 1 kašičica    belog luka u prahu
    • 1 kašičica    suvog ruzmarina
    • 12    maslinki
    • 1 kašičica    krupne morske soli
    Brašno pomešati sa suvim kvascem.Dodati šećer,so i mlaku vodu pomešanu sa maslinovim uljem. Zamesiti testo. Testo rukom razvući i staviti u tepsiju (30×20) podmazanu maslinovim uljem. Pokriti sa providnom folijom i ostaviti da odstoji 1 h i da u međuvremenu naraste.
    Zagrejati maslinovo ulje da bude mlako,dodati sitno seckani beli luk,luk u prahu i ruzmarin i sa tim prelivom preliti testo slika 2 . Vrhovima prstiju napraviti udubljenja slika 3 Ostaviti da nadođe još 10-15 minuta a onda staviti maslinke i posuti morsku so slika 4.
    Temperatura pečenja-220 °C
    Vreme pečenja-25 minuta

    Nakon pečenja ostavite da se malo prohladi,a onda servirajte.

    Ingredients for the dough:

     

    ·        450 grams of flour

    ·        1 pack of dry instant yeast

    ·        1 teaspoon of sugar

    ·        ½ teaspoon of salt

    ·        250 ml of warm water

    ·        3 tablespoons of olive oil

     

    Ingredients for the filling:

    ·        120 ml of olive oil

    ·        2 cloves of garlic

    ·        1 teaspoon of garlic powder

    ·        1 teaspoon of dry rosemary

    ·        12 olives

    ·        1 teaspoon of coarse sea salt

    Stir together flour with yeast. Add sugar, salt, and warm water mixed in with olive oil. Knead the dough. Stretch the dough with help of your hands, and place it in the baking tray (30×20) greased with olive oil. Cover with plastic foil and let it sit for 1 hour till it proofs. Heat the olive oil till warm, add finely chopped garlic, garlic powder, and rosemary and pour over the dough (see photo 2). Make shallow indentations all over dough with your fingertips (see photo 3). Let the dough rise a bit more (10-15 minutes). Sprinkle sea salt evenly over focaccia and add olives (photo 4). Bake at 220 °C for 25 minutes.

    8-Jun-2008 - Maslena pogača

    Potrebno je:
    1 čaša jogurta
    100 ml mlake vode
    20 gr kvasca
    3 jaja
    1 kašičica šećera
    2 kašičice soli
    700 gr brašna
    Za premazivanje:
    150 umućenog margarina
    U mlaku vodu staviti kvasac da nadođe. U vanglicu sipati jogurt,so,šećer, jaja i promešati. Dodati vodu sa nadošlim kvascem i zamestiti testo sa brašnom. Ostaviti da odstoji 15-20 minuta.
    Naraslo testo podeliti na 8 jufkica. Svaku jufkicu premesiti i razvući u krug a zatim premazati sa umućenim margarinom i slagati jednu na drugu. Složeno testo iseći na 8 trokuta i svaki deo uviti kao kiflicu.
    U tepsiju(prečnika 28-30 cm)staviti pek papir a ivice premazati margarinom. Slagati kifle u krug,jednu do druge i ostaviti da odstoje od 60-90 minuta.


    Pre pečenja premazati pogaču sa umućenim žumancetom i mlekom i posuti susamom.
    Peći prvih 5 minuta na 250 °C a zatim smanjiti na 200 °C i peći još 30-35 minuta,dok ne porumeni.

    Ingredients needed:

     

    ·        1 cup of yogurt

    ·        100 ml of warm water

    ·        20 grams of yeast

    ·        3 eggs

    ·        1 teaspoon of sugar

    ·        2 teaspoons of salt

    ·        700 grams of flour

     

    For coating:

    ·        150 grams of mixed margarine

     

    In warm water soak yeast to foam. In a bowl add yogurt, salt, sugar, eggs, and stir. Add foamed yeast and knead into a dough with flour. Let it sit for 15- 20 minutes. Separate the proofed dough into 8 small pieces. Stretch each piece and brush with margarine then layer them on top of each other. Cut it into 8 triangles and roll each into crescent shape. Layer baking tray (28-39 cm) with parchment paper and brush the edges with margarine. Arrange them into circle, next to each other and let them rest for 60-90 minutes. Before baking brush them with whisked egg yolk and milk and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Bake first 5 minutes on 250 °C and then lower the temperature to 200 °C and bake 30-35 more minutes or till it reaches golden color.

    Potrebno je:
    3 čaše belog projinog brašna
    2 jaja
    150 gr istopljenog margarina
    100 gr tvrdog kravljeg sira
    1 veza blitve
    1 prašak za pecivo
    malo soli
    1 čaša kisele vode
    Umutiti malo jaja,dodati kiselu vodu,rastopljeni margarin,prašak za pecivo, malo soli i projino brašno. U to izrendati sir i sitno iseckanu blitvu. Sve dobro izmešati i sipati u podmazane kalupe i peći dok ne porumeni.

    Muffins with Swiss chard

    Ingredients needed:

    ·        3 cups of white millet flour

    ·        2 eggs

    ·        150 grams of melted margarine

    ·        100 grams of hard cow cheese

    ·        1 bunch of Swiss chard

    ·        1 pack of baking powder

    ·        Little bit of salt

    ·        1 cup of mineral water

     

    Mix in eggs, add mineral water, melted margarine, baking powder, little bit of salt and millet flour. Add shredded cheese, and finely chopped pieces of Swiss chard. Incorporate all ingredients’ together and pour into muffin pan and bake till it browns nicely.

    Ovo je moj slavski kolač za Sv.Jovana :)
    Ovako je izgledao pre pečenja...
    ...a ovako posle.

    Potrebno za testo:
    2 belanca
    2 šoljice zejtina
    2 kašičice soli
    1/2 kašičice šećera
    kvasac
    brašno (oko 1kg)
    400 ml mleka
    Za figurice:
    50 gr brašna
    50 gr gustina
    voda
    so
    Testo za figurice zamesiti da bude tvrdo.Napraviti figurice i ostaviti malo da se prosuše.
    Zamesiti testo za kolač i ostaviti da naraste. Premesiti,napraviti kolač i staviti u šerpu.Ostaviti da naraste. Premazati žumancetom i staviti figurice. Staviti kolač u vruću rernu na pečenje. Bilo bi poželjno da na pola pečenja,stavite papir da vam ne porumeni vrh malo više, kao meni.

    Ingredients for the dough:

     

    ·        2 egg whites

    ·        2 small cups of oil

    ·        2 teaspoons of salt

    ·        ½ teaspoon of sugar

    ·        Yeast

    ·        Flour ( close to 1 kg )

    ·        400 ml of milk

     

    For the decorations:

     

    ·        50 grams of flour

    ·        50 grams of corn starch

    ·        Water

    ·        salt


     Mix together all of the ingredients’ for the decorations into hard dough
    .  Form the figurines (decorations) and set aside. Knead in the dough for the bread and let it rise.  Mix, and form bread then place it into the baking dish. Brush with egg yolk and bake it in the preheated oven. It would be desirable to place a parchment paper on top of the bread when half way done, this way it will bake more evenly without burning the top.

    Potrebno je:
    1/2 l mleka
    3 jajeta
    1 kvasac
    1 kg brašna
    margarin za premazivanje testa
    Zamesiti testo i ostaviti da odstoji 30 minuta.
    Razvući koru debljine prsta i premazati margarinom.Koru saviti kao rolat,ponoviti razvijanje i premazivanje margarinom. Ponoviti postupak 5-6 puta.
    Razvući koru,iseći na tri trake i isplesti kao pletenicu. Premazati žumancetom,posuti susamom i peći. Ja sam inače pogaču pekla u kalupu od kuglofa i ovoga puta samo u pola mere spremila.

    Ingredients needed:

     

    ·        ½ liter of milk

    ·        3 eggs

    ·        Yeast

    ·        1 kg of flour

    ·        Margarine for coating

     

    Knead in the dough and let it rest for 30 minutes. Roll the dough out to the thickness of one finger and brush with margarine. Roll the dough in the shape of the roulade and repeat the process 5-6 times more. Roll it again and cut into three same size  strips and braid them all together.  Brush with egg yolk and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Bake and enjoy.

    Potrebno je:
    2 belanca
    2 šoljice zejtina
    2 kašičice soli
    1/2 kašičice šećera
    kvasac
    brašno (oko 1kg)
    400 ml mleka

    Razvuče se testo debljine prsta i vade se krugovi prečnika 10-12cm.
    Ređa se u tepsiju jedan krug do polovine drugog kruga.
    Premaže se žumancetom i pospe sa susamom.
    I na kraju izgleda ovako

    Minja’s pogaca

     

    Ingredients needed:

     

    ·        2 egg whites

    ·        2 small cups of oil

    ·        2 teaspoons of salt

    ·        ½ teaspoon of sugar

    ·        Yeast

    ·        Flour (close to 1 kg)

    ·        400 ml of milk

     


    Roll the dough out to thickness of one finger and cut little circles in the dimension of 10-12 cm. Arrange them in the pan with one circle glued (lined) onto next in line but not all the way to the top of the circle in front of it. Brush with egg yolk and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Enjoy
